The Pastoral Center at Sacred Wandering focuses on developing and deploying training and resources for the community, whether lay or clergy, as they work to proclaim the message our Christ gave us in a changing world. The skills and knowledge needed to deliver Jesus’ message must be constantly developed and renewed. We also empower the community to bring the Christ's message of love, forgiveness, compassion, and healing (among others) to their neighbors and each other the confidence to be strong and compassionate witnesses of hope in a challenging and often dispiriting world.
Following a well-worn path, we do this not only through our ministry of mental health and other complementary forms of healing but also through the central focus of our ministry – the celebration of the Sacraments.
We seek a sacramental home in the Milwaukee, Brown Deer, or Mequon area until we can build our center, focusing on healing and the sacraments.
If you have such a place or know where we can look, please feel free to "Let Us Know."
A Sacramental Presence
The Pastoral Center celebrates the universal (Anglo/Catholic) tradition of the seven sacraments. In keeping with our mission, our primary focus is:
- Baptism
- Celebration of the Holy Eucharist
- Healing of the Sick & Final Anointing
